Two dead in separate incidents

AMMAN/NORTHEASTERN BADIA — A man died on Sunday at Al Maamoura in Karak in a collision involving a truck and a car, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD).

The truck caught fire because of the accident, but CDD personnel controlled the blaze.

Also on Sunday, an 18-year-old died in the Northeastern Badia area of Sabha as a result of an electric shock, according to Mafraq Public Hospital Director Ismeir Mashaqbeh, who added that the teenager was pronounced dead on arrival.
