Two dead and 17 injured in various accidents on Wednesday

AMMAN — A 67-year-old man died and two were injured on Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision in Marka, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said. East Amman CDD cadres administered first aid to the injured and took them to Marka Military Hospital where they were listed in critical condition.

A 23-year-old Egyptian guest worker was shocked to death on Wednesday by a loose cable that fell off a pole after it was hit by a pickup track in the Jawasreh area.

Also on Wednesday, 15 people were injured in two separate traffic accidents in Jerash and Irbid. CDD cadres administered first aid to the injured and took them to hospitals where they were reported in fair condition.
