Two children drown in agricultural pool in Southern Shouneh

AMMAN — Two children on Friday died after drowning in an agricultural pool in Southern Shouneh, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Saturday.
One of the siblings died immediately while his brother was transferred to the hospital and was reported to be in critical condition, before succumbing to his injuries on Saturday, according to Southern Shouneh Hospital Director Fayez Kharabsheh.
Southern Shouneh District Governor Basem Mubaydeen said that the agricultural pool is owned by the children’s relative, calling on parents to exercise caution and to keep their children away from agricultural pools.
