Tweisi says more attention to be given to culture, arts

AMMAN — Culture Minister Adel Tweisi on Monday stressed the need to give more attention to the sector, stressing the important role Jordanian artists play in the community.
At a meeting with Sari Asaad, the president of the Jordanian Artists Association, Tweisi said the ministry is committed to cooperating with other local cultural institutions, especially the syndicate.
He said his ministry is committed to promoting culture and the arts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
