The visit, to discuss increasing Turkish investments in the city, came as a follow-up to Prime Minister Hani Mulki’s visit to Turkey last month.
The ambassador met with Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority Chief Commissioner Nasser Shraideh and CEO of Aqaba Development Corporation Ghassan Ghanem and other officials to review investment opportunities and the expansion of Turkish investment in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone.
Karagöz also met with Aqaba Governor Hakim Mahameed, and toured several economic and touristic locations in Aqaba, including King Hussein International Airport and Ayla Oasis Development Company.
