Turkey, Jordan keen to develop cultural cooperation

AMMAN — Turkish Ambassador to Jordan Murat Karagöz on Thursday met with Culture Minister Nabih Shuqum, a statement from the Turkish embassy said. Karagöz described relations between Jordan and Turkey, which mark their 70th anniversary this year, as deep-rooted.
The diplomat expressed his country’s keenness to develop cooperation in cultural fields through Yunus Emre Cultural Institution in Amman and through sharing archives between the two countries. Shuqum highlighted the potential of building on cultural ties.
