Transport minister, USAID deputy mission director discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Transport Wajih Azaizeh and Deputy Mission Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Margaret Spears on Sunday discussed means of enhancing cooperation in the transport sector.
Azaizeh, during a meeting, reviewed the ministry's future strategic projects, welcoming the USAID's interest in partnering with the ministry and offering technical assistance, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also highlighted the ministry's intention to offer smart transportation systems.
Spears expressed the USAID's readiness to offer technical support, notably for projects related to women and youth empowerment, through providing safe transport vehicles and providing training for the sector's staff.
