Training workshop to improve practices in childhood development

AMMAN — The Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD) and the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) on Sunday virtually inaugurated the first workshop for trainers’ professional development.
The workshop, which was organised in conjunction with World Children's Day, saw the participation of 25 trainers from the ministries of education, health, culture, social development and Awqaf, in addition to representatives of relevant institutions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mohammad Fawzi, director of research, documentation and knowledge development at the ACCD, said that this training programme aims to build a comprehensive ideological pattern for the development of children and for the cultural and social environment. NCFA Secretary General Mohammed Miqdadi praised the role of the ACCD, stressing his keenness to see benefits from this training programme in childhood development, an area that is in need of a new ideological advance.
