Tourist restaurant association embarks on sterilisation mission

AMMAN — The Jordanian Tourist Restaurant Association on Monday carried out comprehensive sterilisation operations in its affiliated facilities, as part of precautionary and preventive measures implemented by the JRA against COVID-19.
The association’s Director General Eliana Jaanini said in a statement to the Jordan News Agency, Petra that all restaurants carried out sterilisation operations, distributed gloves and face masks to their employees and provided manual sterilisation devices throughout their facilities.
She added that the association also distributed awareness brochures and posters on the coronavirus to restaurants in cooperation with the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA). The JRA, in cooperation with the JFDA, also held a lecture for restaurant owners and employees on preventive measures.
