Tkiyet Um Ali launches ‘Your Sacrifice Reaches All Jordan’ Eid Al Adha campaign

AMMAN — Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA) on Sunday launched its Eid Al Adha campaign, titled “Your Sacrifice Reaches All Jordan”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

The campaign during Eid Al Adha (the Feast of Sacrifice) encourages donors to present meat from sacrificed livestock and distribute them to underprivileged families benefiting from the sustainable food support programme in all governorates of the Kingdom.

The campaign also aims to provide meat to 20,000 families benefiting from TUA throughout the year.

TUA indicated that the cost of the adahi (meat from sacrificed livestock) abroad is JD120, including the slaughtering, cutting, freezing and shipping it to Jordan, and then storing it in TUA warehouses to be distributed to the beneficiary families throughout the year, while the cost of meat donation in Jordan is JD170, including the slaughter and distribution during Eid Al Adha to families accredited with TUA.
