AMMAN — Amman Preventive Security Department personnel have arrested three suspects in Jabal Amman — two alleged arms dealers and a buyer — confiscating the weapons and ammunition, according to a Public Security Department (PSD) statement released Wednesday.
The department’s personnel were on duty when they stopped a vehicle and found an unlicensed pistol in it, and after questioning the driver, who turned out to be the alleged buyer, information led to one of the suspected arms traders.
A special team raided his house, arresting him and confiscating the weapons found there. Through the suspect, investigators arrested the second suspected dealer, according to the statement.
