AMMAN — Authorities on Tuesday arrested three suspects during a raid in Northern Badia, following the killing of a citizen earlier in the day, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Royal Badia Forces, in cooperation with the Criminal Investigation Department and the Preventive Security Department, arrested the three suspects after facing strong resistance and exchanges of gunfire, Petra reported.
The main operations room of the Royal Badia Forces received a report in the morning, stating that anonymous suspects had shot at two citizens in the area, killing one of them, who was in his 30s, and injuring the other, before fleeing the scene. The injured victim has since been listed in fair condition.
A joint-taskforce investigation identified three suspects, two of whom were arrested in a house.
The third suspect, identified as an Arab national and classified as “very dangerous”, fled to a desert area. He was pursued and later arrested in possession of two firearms.
