AMMAN — Following Friday prayer, thousands of citizens took to the streets in solidarity marches in Amman and other governorates in the Kingdom, to condemn the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression against Gaza, which has resulted in tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded people, the majority of whom are civilian women, children and elderly.
The marchers denounced the unfair treatment of the Palestinian issue by the international community and urged it to take responsibility for halting Israel from committing more crimes against civilians in Gaza, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. They also stressed the need to uphold international humanitarian law and international law.
They also voiced their support for His Majesty King Abdullah's efforts to defend the Palestinian cause at various levels, reiterating their positions in support of His Majesty's commitment to assist the Palestinian people and their just cause until they regain their legitimate rights.
The marchers also urged for concerted Arab and international efforts to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. They also called for an end to all forms of cooperation with Israel.
