Testing at paediatric hospital in Irbid shows no COVID-19 infections — director

AMMAN — Twenty tests taken to check children at Princess Rahma Paediatric Hospital in Irbid for the novel coronavirus have come back negative, the hospital’s director Taha Tamimi said on Saturday.
In a statement, Tamimi also noted that the results of the tests taken on nurses, administration staff and security staff also came back negative, while the test results for 10 children are still pending, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. As a precautionary measure, epidemiological inspection teams also tested all children receiving treatment at the hospital, whose results are still pending, he said.
