Teachers association announces committee elections’ uncontested winners

AMMAN — Chairman of The Jordan Teachers Association’s (JTA) Higher Elections Committee and Secretary General of the Ministry of Education Sami Salaytah on Tuesday announced the names of the uncontested winners in the association’s central committee elections.
Five uncontested individual candidates have made it to the committee from Amman, Mafraq, Maan and Aqaba, in addition to the “Aqaba List” of 10, who also ran uncontested from Aqaba Governorate.
Members of the association will cast their ballots for the remaining 298 slots next Tuesday.
