AMMAN — The Ajloun Court of First Instance on Monday sentenced a teacher to six months in prison after convicting him of forging and using a fake COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
The court decided to quash an Ajloun Magistrate Court's ruling sentencing the man to one month in prison, increasing it to six months, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
To avoid PCR tests, the defendant had forged a vaccination proof, but after checking the authenticity of the vaccination certificate on the “Sanad" app, the school administration found that it was not listed on the app.
