Tawjihi winter session concludes without incidents — Thneibat

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat said the winter session of General Secondary Certificate Examination (Tawjihi), which concluded on Wednesday, went smoothly.
He commended students’ and parents’ high sense of awareness and their compliance with regulations.
In a statement following the conclusion of the exams, Thneibat thanked all national institutions that supported the ministry during the exam as well as the various media outlets. Around 114,096 students from the different academic and vocational branches sat for Wednesday’s examination, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat on Saturday said the ministry is keen on maintaining the “success” of the last two sessions of the General Secondary Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) in the upcoming winter session.
While the Jordan Teachers Association (JTA) on Wednesday reported cheating cases in the General Secondary Certificate Examination (Tawjihi), the Education Ministry insisted that no such violations were committed.
