Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organisation, Italian embassy sign cultural agreement

AMMAN — The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organisation (TAG-Org) and the Italian embassy in Jordan signed an agreement aiming to enhance business and cultural relations between the two countries and promote sustainable tourism, a TAG-Org statement said on Sunday. The agreement was signed by the Italian Ambassador to Jordan, Giovanni Brauzzi, and TAG-Org founder and chairperson Talal Abu-Ghazaleh.
The parties will work to promote the Italian language and culture in Jordan, through an “extensive programme of initiatives and projects”, the statement said.
The programmes include the development and promotion of the “Second phase” of the PETRA Project in Little Petra and AL AMAL, project in the Roman amphitheatre of Umm Qais, in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. The deal aims to promote the development of European cultural tourism to Jordan, the statement said.
