Swiss agency to finance school maintenance plan

AMMAN — The Education Ministry and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation on Sunday signed an agreement to carry out maintenance for 28 public schools, worth JD1 million, financed by the agency.
The agreement is aimed at improving the educational environment at the schools and helping the ministry accommodate increasing numbers of Syrian students through building more classrooms.
The targeted schools will serve more than 24,000 Jordanian and Syrian students.
