AMMAN — Orange Jordan and Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) inaugurated the new “Orange Village” at the university to provide an interactive space that enables students to develop their digital skills.
The inauguration was attended by the CEO of Orange Jordan, Thierry Marigny and HTU President, Ismael Al Hinti, according to a statement from Orange Jordan.
Located in HTU’s main building, the Orange Village will feature a series of educational and entertaining digital solutions to enhance the students’ skills in evolving fields, such as gaming, in line with the work of the university’s Gaming Club.
The new village reflects Orange Jordan’s commitment to digital education on a large scale as a “responsible digital leader”, and its commitment to partnering with academic institutions, Marigny said.
The HTU President highlighted the importance of the village and its focus on gaming, a new area of digital development.
