AMMAN — Most regions of the Kingdom will be affected by a fair air mass that will bring stable weather conditions until the end of Ramadan, a weather forecaster said on Thursday.

"Over the coming few days, normal summer conditions will prevail, with temperatures being around their annual average of 30ºC to 31ºC for this time of the year," said Omar Dajani, the chief weather forecaster for Arabiaweather.com

Pleasant weather is forecast for the coming few nights, with the possible formation of low-altitude clouds, especially in late night hours and early morning hours, the forecaster told The Jordan Times, adding that these nights may be slightly cold.

Temperatures in Amman on Friday will range between a high of 31ºC and a low of 21ºC, while in Aqaba it will be hot, with mercury levels marking a maximum of 41ºC during the day, dropping to a minimum of 29ºC, he said.

A slight rise in temperatures is forecast for Saturday in Amman, ranging from 32ºC during the day to 23ºC at night, Dajani said.

In Aqaba, mercury levels are expected to range between 41ºC and 30ºC.

Sunday's temperatures in Amman and Aqaba will be the same as the day before, according to Dajani.

"Weather in the first two days of Eid Al Fitr will be fair and stable," he said, expecting the Eid to start on Wednesday.

Eid Al Fitr is the Muslim feast marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
