SSC spends JD70.7m per month on pensions — Rawabdeh

AMMAN — Social Security Corporation (SSC) Director General Nadia Rawabdeh on Tuesday said that expanding the insurance coverage is one of the main goals of the SSC Law, noting that those directly insured amount to 1.5 million active, retired and inheriting subscribers.
Speaking at a meeting organised by Jadara University, Rawabdeh said the monthly bill of pensions amounts to JD70.7 million, JD41 million of which is for early retirees alone.
