SSC announces scheme to clear overdue payments

AMMAN — The Social Security Corporation (SSC) on Monday called on all individuals and private sector establishments indebted to the corporation to benefit from Circular No. 22 of 2021, which allows for paying dues in installments or rescheduling financial obligations and being exempted from interests, fines and additional costs by 50 per cent for the applications submitted during the period extending from December 2020 until the end of June 2021.
The SSC stated in a press briefing that the dues can be paid with 1 per cent annual interest rate, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The amounts owed to the institution were made in installments according to a defence order and the notifications issued in this regard, provided that the number of installments does not exceed 120.
As for the amounts equal to or exceeding JD500,000, they are divided into installments that do not exceed 180.
