Society for care of autistic children holds training course

AMMAN — The Society for Care of Gifted Autistic Children (SCGAC) recently held a specialised training course under the title “Evaluating and Developing Playing Skills and their Role in Developing Language in Children”, according to a statement released by the society this week.
Members of the society and mothers of autistic children, including children speech specialist Eman Darwish, attended the training, which concluded Friday. Darwish lectured on the definition of playing, its attributes, as well as theories on the vital role of playing in developing children’s language skills, the statement said.
