Social development minister tours Maan

AMMAN — Minister of Social Development Basma Ishaqat on Sunday visited Maan to check the development projects in the governorate. The minister toured projects aimed at economically empowering women, according to a Social Development Ministry statement.
She also visited a training and rehabilitation association for Jordanian women and the Princess Haya Centre to attend the institute’s graduation ceremony.
During the tour, Ishaqat launched a women empowerment project to create job opportunities. The project will be implemented by Anwar Charity Association for Women and Oxfam in Jordan, according to the statement.
