Social Development minister, British ambassador discuss means to enhance social protection

AMMAN — Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa and British Ambassador to Jordan Philip Hall on Monday discussed means to enhance collaboration between the two countries in social protection. Bani Mustafa outlined the ministry's efforts to extend services to targeted groups and expand the reach of benefits from both the ministry and the National Aid Fund, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. She also emphasised that the ministry leads empowerment with other ministries, particularly in care services provided for the elderly, orphans and women. Hall underscored the importance of enhancing collaboration and exchanging expertise in social protection between the two kingdoms.
