SMS service to inform motorists of traffic, littering tickets

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on Saturday launched a new SMS service to inform drivers of their fines for traffic and environment violations.
Sultan Kharabsheh, head of the IT department at GAM, said the service is a joint effort with the Central Traffic Department.
He added that the messages for this service are free of charge in cooperation with the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology.
