Sheyyab praises MSF’s work with Syrian refugees

AMMAN — Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab on Tuesday received the 2016 report of the international medical organisation Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) on its activities in treating Syrian refugees in Jordan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Sheyyab thanked the international organisation for its support to the Kingdom as it faces the challenges generated by the Syrian refugees flux, urging them to maximise their support in order to reflect the burdens that Jordan is shouldering. For his part, MSF’s Head of Mission in Jordan Marc Schakal commended Jordan’s efforts in dealing with displaced Syrians at various levels, especially in providing healthcare.
