Sheyyab condemns ‘assault’ on Jerash Hospital staff

AMMAN — Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab on Saturday condemned an alleged assault on Jerash Hospital’s staff, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During a visit to the injured staff, Sheyyab said that the ministry rejects any such act and will take the necessary legal measures to refer the suspected assailants to the judiciary.
Last week, the relatives of a patient at the emergency department allegedly attacked three hospital staffers, which resulted in injuries and damage to the department’s equipment, according to Petra.
