Sheikha Salama Al Nahyan assumes honourary presidency of Jordanian-Emirati Women Business Council

AMMAN — The Jordanian-Emirati Women Business Council, based in Abu Dhabi on Sunday appointed Sheikha Salama Bint Tahnoun Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan as its honourary president. The announcement was made during the council's meeting held in Abu Dhabi, attended by Sheikha Salama, and all members of the board of directors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During the meeting, Sheikha Salama said that this council and this "true" partnership among the two sides' businesswomen come within the true belief in the importance of increasing bridges of communication and networking and supporting opportunities for expertise transfer. She also wished the council further success in serving Arab women, their development and their economic empowerment. Board members expressed their sincere happiness with this announcement, stressing that Sheikha Salama's acceptance of this honorary position supports the council's mission to enhance economic, developmental and cultural opportunities for businesswomen across both nations.
