Seventh Amman Security Colloquium slated for Wednesday

AMMAN — The seventh Amman Security Colloquium is scheduled to convene at the University of Jordan on Wednesday with the participation of 150 high-level experts and decisions makers from 40 Arab and Western states, according to a statement from organisers.
The meeting will “explore challenges and opportunities to reach a Weapons of Mass Destruction Free Zone” in the Middle East.
Organised by the Arab Institute for Security Studies in collaboration with a number of governments and international organisation, the colloquium is dedicated to discussing security issues with emphasis on foreign policy options, regional cooperation, disarmament and nuclear non-proliferation, the statement said.
