AMMAN — Seven students on Thursday were injured in a stampede that was triggered by the collapse of a wall at their school in Tabarbour, a statement from the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said. A truck collided with the wall, causing part of it to fall into the school’s premises leading to a stampede of panicked students.

CDD personnel administered first aid to the students and took them to Prince Hamzah Hospital, where they were reported to be in fair condition.
