Senate upgrades chamber to accommodate people with disabilities

AMMAN — The Senate has made various changes to the chamber to better accommodate people with disabilities and allow them to attend sessions, Senate President Feisal Fayez said on Thursday.
In a meeting with HH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities, Fayez said the Senate will take into account the higher council’s suggestions to provide better access and facilities to people with disabilities.
During the meeting, Fayez and Prince Mired stressed the importance of supporting people with disabilities and providing them with chance to support their communities.
