Senate president, Qatar ambassador talk ties, cooperation

AMMAN — The current circumstances imposed on the Arab nation require enhancing cooperation and unity to face joint challenges, Senate President Faisal Fayez said on Monday.
During his meeting with Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani, Fayez highlighted the “deep-rooted brotherly ties” between Amman and Doha that are based on mutual respect, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The president called for further enhancing bilateral relations at the political, economic, investment and parliamentary levels, in addition to sustaining coordination and consultation between the two countries.
Sheikh Saud voiced his country’s keenness to further “boost brotherly ties between the two countries”, activate coordination to face regional challenges and support projects and programmes that contribute to the comprehensive economic development in Doha and Amman, stressing Qatar’s keenness to support Jordan.
