AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Al Fayez on Tuesday mourned the death of Sergeant First Class Iyad Nuaimi, a member of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) who died in the line of duty during thwarting a smuggling attempt on the Kingdom's north-eastern borders. Al Fayez extended condolences to the Nuaimi family and JAF, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. He said that "this terrorist act committed by the killers will not frighten our armed forces and security agencies from continuing to deal with any smuggling attempt to protect the borders".
