Senate president, Kuwaiti ambassador discuss bilateral ties, address regional challenges

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Rashid on Wednesday discussed means to bolster bilateral relations as well as issues concerning the Arab and Islamic nations. The meeting addressed the current situation in the West Bank and Gaza, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Fayez emphasised the necessity of a united Arab front to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. He also called for an end to the genocidal war and war crimes committed by Israel, resulting in the tragic loss of thousands of lives and tens of thousands of casualties, mostly women and children. Fayez also denounced Israel's persistent disrespect of international laws and conventions. Meanwhile, the ambassador praised the significant role and continuous efforts of His Majesty King Abdullah in addressing regional issues, promoting peace and defending just Arab causes, particularly the Palestinian cause. He also affirmed Kuwait's commitment to strengthening relations with Jordan across various sectors, particularly in enhancing economic and investment collaboration.
