Senate committee endorses amendments to Constitutional Court Law

AMMAN — The Senate’s Legal Committee on Tuesday approved a draft law amending the Constitutional Court Law for the year 2022, as referred by the Lower House, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
This came during a meeting held by the committee in the presence of Minister of State for Legal Affairs Wafa Bani Mustafa.
The draft law amends Articles (60) and (61) of the Constitution, which are concerned with provisions stipulated in the Constitutional Court Law.
The committee will continue reviewing the 2022 draft Children Rights law.
