Scientific research fund approves JD1 million support for research projects

AMMAN — The board of the Scientific Research Support Fund (SRSF) on Thursday approved providing JD1 million in support for research projects and grants to postgraduate students.

During a meeting, chaired by Higher Education Minister Amin Mahmoud, the board decided to support 30 thesis projects, including 21 for MA programmes and nine for PhD programmes.

Moreover, SRSF Director General Abdullah Zu’bi said the fund will begin receiving applications for financial support for the second round of research in July and continue until July 31.
