AMMAN — Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif Bin Bandar Al Sudairi on Tuesday lauded Jordan’s measures to combat the novel coronavirus.
In a press statement, the envoy said that His Majesty King Abdullah and HRH Crown Prince Hussein are keen on the wellbeing of Jordanians and residents, including Saudi nationals, commending the government’s “strict” precautionary measures amid this global crisis.
There are 2,000 Saudi students in Jordan, including students with disabilities, he said, in addition to a “good number” of Saudis who are visiting and residing in the country. He highlighted Jordan’s keenness on communicating with and providing care for them, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Touching on the Saudi embassy’s role, Sudairi said that, under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and instructions of the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, the embassy is keen on keeping in contact with the Saudi community in Jordan round-the-clock and providing them with services.
