Samra Electric Power Company awarded excellence certificate

AMMAN — Jordan's electrical system covers about 99.9 per cent of the population, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh said on Tuesday.
During a ceremony to grant Samra Electric Power Company a Recognised for Excellence (R4E) certificate by the King Abdullah II Centrer for Excellence (KACE), Kharabsheh said that the electric system, despite financial challenges, has maintained a high level of sustainability and services, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
KACE CEO Ibrahim Rawabdeh said that the centre will publish information about the company on the website of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and include the name of the company in a booklet which is distributed to over 500 global organisations.
Amjad Rawashdeh, chairman of Samra Company, expressed his pride in the performance of company personnel and their role in this accomplishment.
