Safadi attends meetings over halting war on Gaza ahead of Arab League Council in Riyadh

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Thursday attended a ministerial-level meeting, in preparation for a special session of the Arab League Council in Riyadh. The summit meeting, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, will discuss the Israeli aggression against Palestinians in the Palestinian territories and the corresponding actions taken by the Arab nations in response. Safadi, prior to the meeting, met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan and discussed efforts to halt the war on Gaza and the resulting human catastrophe. The ministers reiterated delivering humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians in the besieged enclave. Safadi met Arab counterparts on the sidelines of the meeting, as part of the continuous Arab efforts to halt the war on Gaza.
