RSCN marks International Migratory Bird Day

AMMAN — The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) on Saturday marked International Migratory Bird Day.
During the event, which was held at the Dead Sea Panorama, the RSCN called for integrating bird protection concepts in the tourism sector, according to an RSCN statement e-mailed to The Jordan Times.
The RSCN organised a play on migrating birds during the event, which also featured an exhibit of Jordan’s birds and falcons.
Representatives from tourism agencies, Dead Sea hotels and the Rangers attended the event, which was supported by UNDP and BirdLife International.
