AMMAN — Royal Court chief Yousef Issawi on Saturday inaugurated several Royal initiative projects implemented in Irbid Governorate, following His Majesty King Abdullah’s field visits and meetings with dignitaries from the area.

The projects included stadiums in Yabla, Ider and Sieleh, a multi-purpose hall in Hubras in Bani Kinanah and a stadium in Wadi Zabdah in Central Irbid, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The multi-purpose hall in Hubras, which was established on a three-dunum plot of land, includes offices and other facilities for residents to organise social event and youth trainings.

Establishing these projects is part of His Majesty’s keenness on empowering the youth across the Kingdom as they are the main driver of sustainable development.

In remarks to Petra, Issawi stressed King Abdullah’s keenness to expedite the development process in local communities.

Social Development Minister and Acting Youth Minister Ayman Mufleh  said that youth are a top priority for the King who always directs stakeholders to launch initiatives to empower them.
