Royal Film Commission to screen ‘CRONOFOBIA’

AMMAN — In celebration of the “Week of the Italian Language” the Royal Film Commission, in collaboration with the Swiss and Italian embassies, will screen Italian language film “CRONOFOBIA” on Wednesday.
The film will be shown at the Rainbow Theatre, in Amman’s 1st Circle, or Jabal Amman neighbourhood. Entry to the screening is open to the public and is free of charge. The film will be in Italian, but will have English subtitles, and is rated for ages 16 and up.
The 2018 film, directed by Francesco Rizzi, is a thriller set in Switzerland and tells the story of a mysterious man named Suter, who during his suspicious travels through the country, secretly observes the life of a woman named Anna.
The film has won Best Director and Screenplay Award at Max Ophuls Festival, the Special Jury Prize at Tallin Black Nights Film Festival, Best Film and Best Director at Bogota Film Festival, Best Editing at Durban Film Festival and the Prize of Swiss Cinema at Rhode Island International Film Festival, according to a statement from organisers.
