Royal Decree approves promotion of Sharia judges

AMMAN — A Royal Decree was issued on Thursday approving the Judicial Council's decision to promote several Sharia judges, effective as of the beginning of June.
Chief Islamic Justice Abdul Hafez Rabtah extended his congratulations to the judges, wishing them further progress and advancement in serving the Kingdom, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The decree included the promotion of several judges to the first tier of the highest grade, including Suleiman Salem Salameh Hamadin, Ziyad Abdul Majeed Abdullah Arabiat, Eyad Mohammed Ibrahim Khataybeh and Wadi Abdulmuti Saud Abdeh.
It also included the promotion of several Sharia judges to the first level of the special grade, including Munawer Abed Rabuh Raja Alawin, Mohammed Hashim Abdul Rahman Younes, Ahmed Abdul Hadi Mahmoud Amar, Riyad Qasim Mohammed Dweiri, Tayel Suleiman Khalil Rahamanah, Ghaleb Karim Mufleh Samarneh, Qasem Mohammed Mohammed Bani Bakr and Sohaib Abdullah Basheer Shakhanbeh.
In addition, Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Tahrawi was promoted to the first tier of the first grade.
