Royal Decree approves appointments of universities’ presidents

AMMAN — A Royal Decree was issued on Monday approving the appointment of Saeb Khreisat as president of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Zaidan Kafafi as president of Yarmouk University and Najeeb Abu Karaki as president of Al Hussein Bin Talal University for a period of four years as of March 18, in accordance with the provisions of Article 6/A/6 of the Law of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 23 of 2009, and its amendments and Article 12/B of the Jordanian Universities’ Law No. 20 of 2009 and its amendments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
