Royal Court secretary visits renovated army cemetery

AMMAN — Royal Court Secretary General Yousef Issawi on Sunday checked on the maintenance and renovation work completed at the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) cemetery in the Um Al Heiran area, east Amman.
The renovation was implemented under Royal directives.
The four-dunum cemetery includes the remains of 228 JAF martyrs who were killed in the Karama Battle and other combat operations led by the armed forces.
Issawi, who is also president of a committee entrusted with following up on the implementation of Royal initiatives, was accompanied by Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji.
The renovation was implemented by the Royal Court in coordination with the JAF general command and the Greater Amman Municipality.
