AMMAN — Several projects implemented through Royal initiatives were inaugurated on Monday in the Northern Badia, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
These projects, including youth and health centres, are the final batch of initiatives His Majesty King Abdullah directed Royal Court officials to implement during his visit to the area in 2012.
Royal Court Secretary General Yousef Issawi told Petra that His Majesty ordered 25 projects to be implemented — seven schools, four health centres, eight youth centres, four sports fields, housing units for underprivileged families and the Manar project for people with disabilities.
Issawi reiterated the importance of activating the role of youth centres to assist the Youth Ministry’s plans, through rehabilitating young people and increasing their engagement in society.
