AMMAN — Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi on Tuesday said that Jordan serves as a model in construction and achievement, a model of peace, security and stability, continuing its confident progress while preserving its principles and values towards the Arab nation.

Issawi, during his meeting at the Royal Hashemite Court with three delegations representing community, women, and youth activities, added that Jordan has always been at the forefront of supporting Arab peoples, defending their just causes and legitimate rights, and serving as a haven for all Arabs, according to a Royal Court statement.

He stressed that the Kingdom's stances regarding the events in Gaza and the West Bank reflect "deep-rooted and inherent" Jordanian principles, referring to the intensive and continuous efforts of His Majesty King Abdullah to stop the brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza and ensure a sufficient and sustainable flow of aid to Gazans.

He added that Jordan utilises its international status to convey clear messages to the entire world that Israel’s actions of killing civilians and demolishing vital facilities contravene all divine laws, legal norms, and human values, which requires immediate intervention to stop the aggression and ensure a continuous and sufficient flow of assistance.

Issawi pointed out that Jordan has made significant efforts since the first day of the aggression to stop the collective punishment against the people in Gaza and to halt these massacres, which are "a stain on humanity".

Jordan will continue to exert all efforts to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and continue supplying the Jordanian field hospitals with all necessary medical supplies and aid, Issawi stressed.

He highlighted that His Majesty's participation in the airdrop operations of aid sends a clear message to all that Jordan’s stances are "beyond doubt or questioning" and that the Hashemites have never abandoned their duty towards Palestine and supporting its people.

The Royal Court chief also referred to Her Majesty Queen Rania's efforts to present the global public opinion with the reality of the international community's double standards, exposing the falsity of Israeli claims and its criminal acts and violations of international resolutions and human rights through clarifying the true nature of the conflict.

He also referred to the efforts of HRH Crown Prince Hussein, who supervised the preparation and entry of the second Jordanian field hospital to Gaza and followed up on ensuring the delivery of aid to the residents of the besieged strip.

Issawi added that the participation of HRH Princess Salma in one of the airdrop operations "will always remain a symbol of courage and loyalty to the Palestinian cause".

For their part, members of the delegations praised Jordan's positions and His Majesty's efforts in defending the Palestinian people, which were evident in the international and regional meetings led by King Abdullah to stop the brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza and ensure the flow of relief, medical, and humanitarian aid to Gazans.
