Ro’ya TV Channel wins international television award

AMMAN — Ro’ya TV Channel has won the Eutelsat Award for the Lifestyle Category, according to a statement released on Saturday by the local channel.
Ro’ya TV General Manager Fares Sayegh received the award at the 19th Eutelsat TV Awards ceremony held in Milan, Italy. The local channel reached the final competition, beating 120 competitors from around 37 countries.
Eutelsat TV Awards are an annual television prize rewarding broadcasters from all over the world for exceptional creativity, innovation and audience engagement. The prize is considered the first awarded in this category to a Jordanian broadcaster, the statement said.
